Install Roblox Studio from the official setup page on Windows or Mac, launch it and sign in. Build and script your own projects. Optional community editor plugins are available in the Creator Store: select the plugin and choose Install. These extensions run in Studio, not inside another creator’s live experience.

Use the official Studio installer. Before experimenting with plugins or scripts, use File → Save to File or Download a Copy to retain an .rbxl or .rbxlx project copy. Test changes in the editor and return to the saved copy if necessary.
Roblox experiences can be played on Xbox. Roblox Studio is the separate Windows and macOS creation environment; its plugins do not install into the Xbox player.
