Modding this edition
The Sims 4 supports community mods and custom content on PC and Mac. Packages belong in the user’s Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods folder, not the Steam installation folder. Enable Custom Content and Mods in Game Options > Other and restart. Updates may disable mods until you recheck compatibility.
- Back up your saves and read the creator’s version and dependency requirements.
- Extract the downloaded package as instructed into the user-data Mods folder.
- Enable the relevant mod options, restart the game and test the package.
