Start with the right package.

VEIN has community mods on Nexus. Some require a VEIN-specific UE4SS setup; package formats and game builds vary. Heimdall links the catalog but does not treat every archive as a generic plugin.

1. Check whether the project requires UE4SS or another installation method.
2. Follow the current VEIN-specific loader instructions when required.
3. Install only the project’s documented files and check its client/host requirements. Back up your world before testing.

Use the game or author’s installation flow. Automated installation in Heimdall is not enabled for this route.

Keep your setup dependable.

Use the game’s launcher to check for updates and verify files if it fails to start. Keep demo and playtest installations separate from the full game.

Use the platform launcher to start the game. Check the publisher’s current notices after a game update.
