Wildgate puts you in a spacecraft crew competing with other teams to explore and extract. You will need to divide piloting, repairs, boarding and exploration between you. Shooting matters, but keeping the ship and crew working together also shapes the outcome.
Wildgate's October 26 patch notes bring Hallowed Beyond decorations back to the Reach in all game modes through November 6, with a greater chance to see the seasonal setting. New free skins are unlocked in customization menus. Moonshot also plans to transfer its Discord server to community ownership; the notice does not say that handoff is complete.
