This notice describes the Heimdall Studios website and Heimdall Mod Assistant services operated by Heimdall Consulting Services L.L.C.
Browser configuration files
The browser workspace processes configurations on your device. Imported files, mod names, and selections are not uploaded. The workspace keeps the current configuration in memory until the page closes; export a file to save your changes.
Hosting
Cloudflare delivers and protects this website. Hosting and security processing can include IP addresses, request URLs, user-agent information, and operational logs. This site does not currently load advertising networks, marketing analytics, or third-party fonts.
Paid licensing and billing
When enabled, Stripe collects billing information through its hosted checkout. Heimdall does not receive your complete card details. The licensing service stores a hashed license key, Stripe checkout/customer/subscription identifiers, payment-access status, paid-through dates, and hashed random installation identifiers. Installation identifiers are generated by the app or browser; they are not hardware fingerprints.
License requests send your key and installation identifier over HTTPS so the service can validate paid access. Do not share your license key. A short-lived, secure checkout cookie allows this browser to retrieve its license after payment. Browser storage holds a random installation identifier.
Retention and control
Licensing and billing references are retained while needed to provide access, handle support, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Closing the browser clears the in-memory configuration. You can remove the browser installation identifier by clearing site data; deactivate it first to free its license slot. Stripe manages billing records under its own privacy practices.
